Soap Making Workshop
This workshop will cover three how we make soap for ourselves and customers. All students will have hands-on experience and time to ask questions. Come learn how to use more of your livestock for your family hygiene needs!
This workshop is approximately 2-3 hours.
Got milk? Got tallow? You have the beginnings to make soap!
We use two different soaps in our family. We will run you through all the materials needed to get started, health and safety procedures, and the step-by-step process. Each student will take home a small block of soap to finish curing and cut at home. The process does take time and all students will experience each step hands-on. All materials will be provided with workshop.
Pricing Information
This workshop is $50 per person. Each student will leave with an almost finished product. The product will need to cure in the take-home container for another 24hrs and cure for another three weeks. Each student is encouraged to bring a notebook. Please wear appropriate clothing. Due to possible chemical reactions, we do not advise jewelry to be worn on hands and wrists.
